Hi, I’m Amy Adams.  What makes me tick – and my camera click – is my love of photography.  I have considerable experience in photographing people, families, young people in schools and colleges, social events and business events - working as a photography professional for almost 20 years.  What inspires me is working with my camera to capture different facets of a personality; the special moments in peoples’ lives at social and business occasions, and street scenes. I photograph in my own distinctive, fresh and original way.

Working outside photographing and being in nature is very important to me and in my work with people. I am an advocate of using photography to promote positive mental well-being so we can enjoy the outdoors and explore all the fantastic places we have in South London. 

You’ll also often find me teaching adults and young people to get the best from a camera outdoors - in all weathers.  Don’t worry, there’s indoor tuition too!

In a nutshell, I’m a Photographer who gets a buzz from all things creative and all things nature.

And as I always say, photographs are memories captured in time which last forever.

My qualifications

I’ve always had a total fascination for imagery, so much so that I completed not one but three separate academic degrees on the subject. After I completed my studies, I worked as a Film Editor and then on to setting up and working in my own Photography business.

• BA First Class Honours Degree in Photography, Manchester Metropolitan University

• Masters Image & Communications, Goldsmiths, University of London

• Foundation Degree Communication and Media Studies, University of the Arts London

Shinrin Yoku Practitioner:-

I am a qualified Shinrin Yoku Practitioner.
